Springbank

Springbank is one of just three distilleries left in Campbeltown, the smallest whisky region. Glen Scotia and Glengyle are the other distilleries operating in this region.

Springbank distillery proudly resides along the Kintyre Peninsula of Western Scotland, at the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still. Soaked in heritage, the distillery is known for its unique process leading to its 3 highly sought-after single malts – Springbank, Hazelburn, and Longrow.

The only distillery in Scotland to conduct the complete production process from malting to bottling, on-site itself, Springbank ensures human involvement and unhindered quality control along each and every step. Traditional production methods such as complete floor malting have been retained for centuries – leading to a distinct historical charm and the title of Scotland’s most handcrafted malts.

Right now, at the hands of the 5th generation of The Mitchell Family, Springbank’s spirits are defined by their robust, smoky flavours with hints of their maritime roots. It is a humble distillery, with a unique story to tell.
