According to the Knight Frank Luxury Investment Index, art appreciates in value by 10 per cent across a year and 146 per cent over the course of ten. Rare whisky can generate 23 per cent in a year and a whopping 540 per cent across a decade. This was observed in the past but is not a guarantee that it will be the same every year.

With investment in mind there are not many higher returns than can be found in casks. The flexibility on offer is wide ranging, from maturing your cask to sell on, to bottling for sale at your desired age, a cask allows you the freedom to consider your exit strategy and realise your investment in the easiest possible way.
