Strathisla

 
Strathisla distillery is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It was founded as the Milltown Distillery by George Taylor and Alexander Milne in 1786 and was  was renamed Strathisla in 1951.
 
In 1970, the distillery begins a short run of heavily peated whisky, Craigduff but it is relatively small player in terms of single malt with Gordon & MacPhail being the main resource for bottlings.
