In 1895, Gin producers W. & A. Gilbey bought the distillery and the name was changed from Glenisla-Glenlivet to its current name of Strathmill
In 2001, the first official bottling of Strathmill appears in the Flora and Fauna series as a 12-year-old. In 2014, Diageo (the current owner) releases a 25-year-old as part of the Special Releases.
