With one foot in the past, the other in the present – The Glasgow Distillery is hoping to herald the onset of a whole new era of whisky distilling. Founded in 2014, they became the first single malt distillery to open up in Glasgow in over a century – but their name was borrowed from one of the original distilleries of the region, dating back to 1770.
Having already bagged the Scottish Whisky Awards 2020’ Distillery of the Year accolade, The Glasgow Distillery has truly arrived. Their 1770 Single Malt Signature Range consists of three variants – Triple Distilled, Peated, and The Original – matured in the finest of casks, non-chill filtered, and flaunting all-natural colours.
